Very grateful with Sandra from Traipsing. From the moment I booked the safari, the communication was excellent, very clear, and incredibly helpful with all my questions and concerns. She provided detailed pre-trip information, making sure I was well-prepared and excited for the adventure. It felt like I was in great hands from the start eventhough english is no my first language. The service throughout the trip was nothing short of exceptional. Every staff member, from the lodge team to the safari guides, went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcomed and taken care of. The safari itself was surreal—nothing could have prepared me for the breathtaking encounters with wildlife.

I was looking for a safari for myself and my daughter and came across Traipsing from first enquiry (and a very speedy response) to finalising the final itinerary was simple and quick.

In the end booked a 5 day / 4 night stay at Tambuti Lodge in Black Rhino Park with transfers from and return to J’burg airport.

Sandra messaged just before we left to ensure a smooth arrival, provided sandwiches and drinks for the car journey on arrival and even arranged a last minute change to our pick up time the night before we left.

Such an easy and smooth process, and absolutely outstanding recommendation and everything ran smoothly. Not only would I recommend Sandra and Traipsing to anyone looking to book a holiday I will also be back when I’m ready to book our next one, 5 star service!

Wow! We dealt with Sandra from start to finish and what an incredible person she is. We had lots of questions and she was so quick to respond. We stayed at The Hide and her communication with them was fantastic. Exquisite tour at the Lush Private Lodge, an all-inclusive luxurious lodge in the Pilanesberg Reserve (No malaria). Sandra was extremely helpful and accommodated all our needs including transportation to and from the lodge. Sandra was very much responsive. Communications were clear.

Everything developed as planned. No hiccups. Sandra also helped us with suggestions for pre and post safari experiences in Johannesburg and Cape Town. The Gold restaurant in Cape Town is a MUST. We also discovered the Pot Luck Club in Johannesburg (Rosebank), a gourmet experience in tapa sizes.

The team, whether rangers or staff, at the lodge cannot be described in words. Qualifiers are just not sufficient. We were treated beyond what you can imagine. This is a one in a lifetime experience. You might as well treat yourself at this lodge.

I came across TA through a google search and contacted them for a 14 night itinerary after booking flights. Within 24 hours Sandra had put together an itinerary that suited us perfectly. Safari, Rovos, Vic Falls and wine region in Franschhoek. Everything was absolutely seamless. Transfers were spot on and the chosen accommodation was great. Sandra also provided us with information on the areas that we were staying in. Communication was clear and concise and emails were responded to within 24 hours. Sandra promptly provided me with options and worked with me to massage these into an itinerary that met my requirements. I chose to visit three different national parks so that I could experience more of what South Africa has to offer. The lodges suggested by Sandra exceeded all of my expectations and the standard of accommodation, meals and safari drives were fantastic! In addition, the staff were so friendly and orientated to ensure you had the best experience and wanted for nothing! Each lodge was unique (Sabi Sands – Arathusa Safari Lodge, Pilanesberg National Park – Tambuti Lodge, and Madikwe National Park – Motswiri Lodge). It’s impossible to choose one over the other!

The decision to have a luxury and indulgent safari holiday was also my 60th Birthday gift to me as I was celebrating this milestone whilst in South Africa. Sandra organised, unbeknownst to me, for each of the lodges to help me celebrate my birthday. I was treated to the most wonderful birthday cakes and singing from the local staff. These personal events contributed to a memorable birthday and added to my overall experience of my safari adventure and holiday in South Africa! Thank you Sandra for all the beautiful surprises!

We booked Tanbuti Lodge in Pilansberg for a 2 night stay in 2024.

After reviewing a multitude of different options and tour operators we decided to book with Traipsing Africa’s Safaris. We chose them because:

a) They answered our initial request promptly

b) The quality of information provided was excellent

c) they answered all of our additional questions – nothing seemed too much trouble

d) The cost was extremely reasonable compared to other operators.

We were told that the lodge was 5* luxury and it really was. Everything was just perfect, from the welcome, the hospitality, the food and of course the safari

We would have no hesitation recommending this tour operator and if we do another safari will definately use them again

Our holiday was great thanks to Traipsing Africa! Sandra helped us really good by helping us pick the right accommodation and flights which were the most convenient for our stay.

The accommodation was very neat and clean and everything was available. The food at the Buffalo Rock camp in the Kruger Park was great, including the chef. Due to various allergies we could not eat everything, but the chef had no problem to take that in consideration and if needed cook something else. Overal it was a great experience, far above our expectations!

Sandra was just amazing in helping us organize our Honeymoon. We knew vey little about South Africa and she helped us out in defining the WHOLE trip, not only the safari part of it. It was just perfect! She would reply any day, any time, just giving us the confidence and support we needed. Defnatly recommending to friends and other travellers.

Sandra from Traipsing Africa’s Safaris was amazing. She provided a few options and differing price points and gave some helpful suggestions. Compared to the other quotes her was amazing. We got to go to a small luxury lodge for the same or less than others quoted for good but not as great options.

Booked 3 days/2 nights at the Black Rhino Game lodge through Traipsing Africa and Sandra. Everything from request to payment and transport to and from JNB went very smoothly. Our stay at the Black Rhino was amazing, with wonderful game drives, nice accomodation, good service and good food. Would absolutely recommend!
